Still in Melbourne, Friday, 120210.6:38pm
Hmmm.. now im going to write about my first time trip to melbourne..
when i first come to melb i came alone.. its my first time go alone to a country ive never been before to stay for a long period of time.. its a bet ya.. i dunno whether i will like the place o not, will i survive in school or not.. but its my choice, whether i like it or not, the school fees were paid already and i need to finish it until the end! hehehe.. and that time i also hope that i wont get homesick for so long.. what i will say right now is so far im happy with my choice, i like the place, wont get homesick for that long, still can survive in school although some marks are just pass only, but some is good also..haha.. and i hope i can finish my studies in time and graduate at dec 2011..! yey.. :) its 2 more years to go now.. hope time can fly faster..
the date i reached melb that time was in 10th of july 09, and its winter.. hohoho.. i bring so many things.. 35 kg plus!! havent include my handcarry n laptop.. which was more than 10 kg im sure.. only one person go bring so many things like that.. and it was 5 hours plus journey from denpasar.. that time night flight.. my parents, my aunty frm jember fetch me ti the airport.. i cried.. for sure.. im so gonna miss my parents, my home, bali, everything that i wont see in melbourne.. this also my first time having 5 hours flight.. but its at night.. so im gonna sleep anyway.. hmm..
reach melbourne was early in the morning.. wait for my luggage.. all heavy ones..haizz.. so hard for me one person carry all those luggage.. lucky got someone invented trolley..haha.. so im wearing my sweater already.. its cold there.. then i walked out n see so many ppl there outside waiting.. but not for me of course.. nobody fetch me.. i need to go take a cab n give my address to the taxi driver hoping that he will drive me safely home n wont cheat me cuz im really blind at melbourne.. hohoho.. but im not directly go out that time cuz vania still havent back home yet, she is still on the way back frm sydney to melb.. so i need to wait her reach home first only i can go.. i sit alone waiting for her msg in the airport.. so sad.. alone.. cold.. hungry.. oh ya.. tat time cuz i bring so many luggage then i lazy to walk around find food.. haiz.. and then i met chin nam.. he reached one hour after me i think.. then he sit with me, he's waiting for another students.. and then he leave, i wait more a while then i go find cab outside..
and the cab driver was indian, quite friendly la.. he drive me until i reach my new home.. and guess how much is the cab fare from melbourne airport tullamarine to ormond? its aud$80!! ive never payed that much juz for a cab.. its far i know but i never think its going to be that far and expensive.. luckily i got enough cash.. then after i reach vania havent back yet.. i waited at the carpark infront for half an hour more i think.. cold cold cold.. and at last she came.. that time i never meet her for quite long.. i think around 1.5 yrs, when after graduate high sch.. she at melb already then im in singapore..happy to see her again.. we're best friends for so many years..! then her lil bro that time was having his holiday in melb, also helped me with my luggage to go in the house..
my apartment is not bad..wuite nice.. my room is the master room, but no toilet inside.. got sofa, double bed.. so next time if my parents come can stay in my room.. but my room no carpet!! so it makes my room even colder than outside.. but its good now in summer time.. lucky in my room got aircond, which can b used as a heater also.. thats good.. too bad is the electricity very expensive here.. so must really save, cant on the aircond whole night.. total got 3 rooms in the apartment, and 1 kitchen 1 bathroom also small garden outside.. my other housemate that time was from hong kong, but me n vania are not so close with her..
thats all for this post..get bored of writing this topic already..hahaha..
